5 Reasons We Have To Stop Putting A Ring On It

Before they came up with the genius idea to pound the collective conscience of the American male with the idea that diamonds=romantic devotion, a common engagement gift was a sewing thimble. Yes, a sewing thimble. And — surprise! — weddings still happened. 
There is no such thing as romance. There is only Love, and when it's accepted for what it is, nothing else is needed. Thank you, John Lennon.  Emily-Rose Barry has taken the red pill, and unleashes reality on the nonsense of engagement and wedding rings.
